It's about time...

So, word on the street is that these two broke up...
All I have to say is that it's ABOUT TIME!!
I saw it coming from the very beginning.
I can't stand either of them, and together they were TERRIBLE!!
I wonder if Jake had another one of his CRYING fits
after their break up...I wouldn't be one bit surprised.

Takes me back...

Last week, Zach and I took my cute cousins TOILET PAPERING!!
They wanted to toilet paper my sister and her husband.
So, at 11:00 p.m. we loaded up the mini-van and headed out...

We stopped at dans to stock up on the needed supplies...
Parked around the corner so we could get ready to go
without getting caught...
I gave them a lesson on the proper art of toilet papering.
I had a lot of experience back in the day.
Spee the Stud sneaking up to the house...
Of course we had to bring cousins of all ages along. Lucy is 6
and I must say she is a pretty experienced toilet paperer...
Doing a great job!
Matthew in action...
Zach and I enjoying the fun...
The finished product...
They did a pretty good job if you ask me!!

U.S.A. all the way!!

Last Saturday morning, our friends Doug and Alex had a WORLD CUP party!! We LOVE watching the world cup, and had a lot of fun getting together with some of our best friends to watch the U.S.A. vs. England match. Everyone brought their favorite food from any country that is playing in the world cup this year...So we had tons of delicious treats from around the world. What a fun idea! For those of you who are into the world cup, I'm sure you know how the game ended...In a tie, 1-1. We can't wait for the U.S.A. to play again tomorrow.

Of course we had to dress in our red, white, and blue to show
some team spirit!!
Yes, Zach did drive all the way to the party with the flag hanging out
our window...and yes, we did get many honks along the way.
Doug and Jake making their empenadas from Argentina...delicioso!!
Even Dottie the dog showed her team spirit....

Say Cheese!!

We have needed a new point and shoot CAMERA for a while...
Ours has been such a trooper over the last few years,
but was in dire need of a replacement.
So, we headed down to COSTCO yesterday and picked up this...
We LOVE it!!
It is such a fun camera...
We are digging the screen on the front, so that we won't
have any troubles taking pictures of ourselves
and guessing if we are in the shot or not.
Get ready for many pictures to come!!

Indian Hills

Last week was the last week of school for Indian Hills Elementary, the school that I worked at this year. Which means, summer is officially here! I have absolutely LOVED every minute spent at Indian Hills. It has been such a learning and growing experience for me. Room 130 felt like my home away from home. The ups and downs of each student in my class each day has taught me so many important lessons...Lessons that will help me in my future classroom, and in my life in general. I feel like each of the 13 kids in my class were special in their own ways, and that I was able to touch each of them in some great way. I will miss my job over the summer, and am crossing my fingers that I will have the same job when this next school year starts. As for now, Zach and I are enjoying our summer and spending so much time with each other. I started my summer job last week and couldn't be happier. I have nannied this family for over 3 years, so being with them is like my other home away from home. Zach is almost done with the first half of his summer physics and math, so the end is somewhat in sight...Life is GREAT and we couldn't be HAPPIER!!

LOVE is in the air...once again

So, you all know how much I love The Bachelor and The Bachelorette....
AHHHH I seriously just LOVE these shows.
It's kinda pathetic, I know.
But what could be better then love, drama, and reality tv?!
Well, THE BACHELORETTE just started a few weeks ago.
Another sign that summer is here.
The adorable ALI is this year's Bachelorette...can you say adorable?
I just love her, and think she makes a perfect Bachelorette...

I decided that it would be fun to get some of my friends together
to watch the show...
So, every Tuesday night we head over to Erin's house,
cuddle up on the couches,
snack on some yummy treats,
and watch THE BACHELORETTE!!
Erin, Brooke and I ready for the show to begin
Lindsey and Nicole (I have the most adorable friends)

Anyways, let's talk about the Bachelors that Ali gets
to choose from this season, and who I am loving so far...

FRANK:
LOVE HIM! He is hilarious, and seems like such a fun/normal guy.
He was the first to be introduced on the show,
and impressed me for sure.
He and ALI have definitely hit it off,
and their date to Hollywood was adorable.
I can definitely see him sticking around for a while...

ROBERTO:
What a hunk! My friends and I are definitely crushing on him.
He got the first impression rose,
so obviously ALI is very interested.
I thought it was cute how he took ALI to play baseball.
And, can't wait for their one on one date!
I can see him sticking around for a while too...

I just have to say that I am SO glad that Craig is gone,
but can'twait for ALI to get rid of the weatherman...
I'm thinking he will be gone within the next few weeks.
They are most definitely my least favorite.

We will just have to wait and see who gets the last rose, and Ali's heart...
