Cross Country Road Trip #2

We made yet our second cross country road trip just a little over a week ago. Who would have thought that we would drive across the country and back again in just a few months time? Not us that's for sure!! We decided to take a different route on the way back so that we could see a few new states, and stay a few days with Zach's family in San Antonio, Texas. We absolutely loved spending time with them since we don't get to see them as often as we would like!! It was SO much fun going through the South...Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas, then up through the Southwest all the way up to Utah. We had a great time together experiencing new things. It's good to know that Zach can still stand me after being cooped up in a car day after day ha. Here are just a few of the many pictures we took along the way...Enjoy!!

Zach hasn't eaten TACO BELL since he was in 8th grade because of this exact restaurant in SHIPROCK, New Mexico...He ate here when he was moving from Texas to Utah and got food poisoning- Hence the mean look on his face haha

Goodbye TAMPA...

As I'm sure most of you know by now, Zach and I had to cut our PLATINUM summer out in TAMPA a little short. It was a really hard decision to make, but we both know that it was the RIGHT thing for us to do. It's all BITTERSWEET as Zach has said. We will definitely miss living so close to the OCEAN and being completely on our own. We will miss all of the great FRIENDS that we have grown SO close to while we were there. We have made so many fun MEMORIES over the past few months that we will have forever. It was hard saying GOODBYE to life in TAMPA...But we both know that there is so much for us to look forward to back in SALT LAKE. Thanks everyone for making our platinum summer such a great EXPERIENCE...It couldn't have been better. But for now, GOODBYE TAMPA!!!!

I grew really close to MEL over the summer...She is such a cute girl!! I'm really going to miss her and can't wait until she and all the other office wives are back in UTAH!!

Zach became really good friends with TYSEN, one of the other guys in our office during the summer. I like to tease Zach and call Tysen his BOYFRIEND haha but seriously...There is some definite BROMANCE going on between these two. They are HILARIOUS together!! We will definitely miss Tysen and his cute wife Mel, but don't worry...These two have already planned a little get together the night Tysen gets back to Utah. Good thing they don't live to far away from eachother!!!!

4th of July!!

This year we celebrated the 4th of July with FIREWORKS on ST. PETE'S BEACH!! It was something that neither Zach or I had ever done, so we LOVED it. The guys had to WORK pretty much ALL day so all the girls got together and headed down to the BEACH pretty early in the evening to stake out a good place for us to sit during the firework show. The beach was PACKED!! We had fun RELAXING on the beach, and needless to say we got an awesome spot. This was definitely a FUN night and one to REMEMBER...

Ashley (Brittany's sister) came down to visit us for a few days with the other girls...I love ASH, she is absolutely adorable!! We grew up DANCING together but hadn't seen each other in years. It was SO much fun to see her and do some catching up!!!!

Our friend Jake's cute girlfriend Brittany came down to visit during the 4th!! We took her down to Clearwater beach to check it out and right when she stepped out of the car this is what happened...BIRD POOP right on her neck!! SO SICK, but we love you BRIT!!

JACKSON HOLE

This past week I left TAMPA and headed up to JACKSON HOLE with my family!! We go up there every SUMMER with my mom's family, which is a TRADITION I absolutely love and look forward to every year. We had such a GREAT time, and did lots of FUN things while we were there. I forgot how incredibly GORGEOUS it is up in JACKSON, and how much I miss having MOUNTAINS around me with how FLAT it is in Tampa. I was SO sad that ZACH wasn't able to come with us and MISSED him TONS while he was still in FLORIDA, and can't wait for him to come with us NEXT summer. Like I said, it was a pretty EVENTFUL week up there, so here are a few HIGHLIGHTS from the TRIP...
